1. Acceptance

By using the Glance app and this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Service description

Glance aggregates news headlines and summaries from third-party publishers via RSS and similar feeds. We do not create the underlying news content. We display links and summaries; when you open an article, you are taken to the publisher's site, which is subject to that publisher's terms and policies.

3. YouTube videos and Shorts

The app may display video content from news publishers’ YouTube channels, including Shorts and recent videos. These are played within the app via YouTube’s embed or player (e.g. in-app browser or embedded player). Video content is hosted by YouTube and subject to YouTube’s terms of service and the respective channel’s policies. We do not host, store, or modify the video files; we only surface links and metadata from public YouTube channels. By using video features you also agree to YouTube’s terms where applicable.

4. Takedown requests (publishers)

If you are a publisher or rights holder and believe that your news content, articles, or videos are being used in Glance in a way that is unlawful or infringes your rights, you may send us a takedown request. Please contact us (see Contact section below) with: (1) your name and the organisation you represent, (2) a clear description of the content you want removed and where it appears in our service, (3) the legal basis for your request (e.g. copyright, terms violation), and (4) your contact details. We will review and respond in good faith and may remove or disable access to the specified content where appropriate. We may need to verify your identity or authority. Abuse of this process may result in legal consequences.

5. Use of the service

You agree to:

• Use Glance only for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise.
• Not scrape, automate bulk access, or overload our systems.
• Not use the service for any illegal purpose or in a way that infringes others' rights.

6. Intellectual property

The Glance app, this website, and our branding are ours or our licensors'. News headlines, images, and article content remain the property of the respective publishers. We use feeds and links in line with typical RSS usage; we do not claim ownership of third-party content.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability of any content. We are not responsible for third-party content or sites you reach via our links. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Glance.

8. Changes to terms or service

We may change these terms or the service at any time. We will indicate updates (e.g. by changing the "Last updated" date). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you should stop using the service.
