Drone ban lifted at Coogee Beach after woman mauled by shark
A temporary drone ban was lifted at Coogee Beach to allow Surf Lifesaving NSW to scan for sharks after a woman was mauled. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority issued the exemption on Sunday in response to the attack. Minister Tara Moriarty stated the government aims to make the exemption permanent and will support training for drone pilots.
