Arts leader John Clark dies at 93, transformed Australian theatre landscape

Visionary arts leader John Clark, age 93, died recently, having transformed the National Institute of Dramatic Art over 35 years. NIDA’s general manager Elizabeth Butcher noted, 'His vision extended well beyond NIDA and helped shape the cultural life of this city.' Clark's efforts led to significant growth and development in Australian theatre.
