Sydney council warned of illegal prayer hall years before Bondi attack
13 hours ago
Canterbury-Bankstown Council shut down the Al Madina Dawah Centre in January, more than two years after it was flagged for operating illegally. Akram faces nearly 60 charges, including 15 murders, from a December attack.
