Victorian teenagers report low sense of belonging in government high schools
Only 50.2 percent of Victorian teenagers in government high schools report a sense of belonging, according to the state government's Attitudes to School Survey. David Loader, chair of the Institute for Educational Reform, highlighted the need for reforms to address student engagement as many secondary school students express feelings of boredom and disconnection from their education.
