Australian women and children attempt repatriation from Syrian detention camp
A group of 13 Australian women and children departed the Roj Camp in Syria on Friday in a renewed effort to return home. The families, who have alleged ties to Islamic State militants, coordinated their departure with the Syrian government in Damascus. They are expected to remain in Damascus for about 72 hours before being deported.
