Andrew Mohsen Appointed El Gouna Film Festival Artistic Director Replacing Marianne Khoury

Andrew Mohsen has been appointed as the artistic director of Egypt's El Gouna Film Festival, replacing Marianne Khoury, with the ninth edition scheduled for October 15-23. Mohsen, a notable Arab critic and programmer, aims to expand the festival's scope and enhance its role in bridging Arab and international cinema. The festival was founded in 2017 by Naguib Sawiris.
