Young girl’s body found in Brisbane River

Police recovered the body of a seven-year-old girl who drowned in the Brisbane River on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services responded to Colleges Crossing Recreation Reserve in Chuwar shortly after 5pm. A report will be prepared for the coroner following the incident.
