NSW police officer found dead at home on Central Coast

A 56-year-old police sergeant was found dead at a home in Bateau Bay on the NSW Central Coast on Monday morning. NSW Police indicated that initial inquiries suggest the death is not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner. A critical incident investigation is underway, overseen by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
