Trade Minister Don Farrell challenges 100 percent tariffs on pharmaceuticals

Trade Minister Don Farrell vowed to challenge the Trump administration's 100 percent tariffs on Australian pharmaceuticals, emphasizing zero tariffs should be the goal. Farrell plans to meet U.S. trade representative Jamieson Greer in June to discuss tariff reductions in line with the countries' free trade agreement. Australia's pharmaceutical exports to the U.S. were valued at about $2 billion.
