Major milestone for Powerhouse Parramatta as builder hands over keys
Construction of the $915 million Powerhouse Parramatta museum is complete, with builder LendLease handing over the site to the cultural institution yesterday. The facility, Western Sydney's first major museum, is expected to open in September. CEO Lisa Havilah said staff will now install five exhibitions, including Task Eternal, Australia's largest space exploration exhibition.
