Bahamian Sharks Test Positive for Cocaine & Painkillers in New Study

Sharks in the Bahamas have tested positive for cocaine and pharmaceuticals, according to a new study published in Environmental Pollution. Of 85 sharks analyzed, 28 showed detectable levels of cocaine, caffeine, and painkillers like diclofenac. Researchers express concern over the impacts of human activities on shark health in this supposedly pristine environment.
