Boost to frequency of Sydney’s metro train services as fuel crisis bites
Sydney’s M1 metro rail line will increase services starting Monday, adding 166 weekly trains to meet rising demand amid a fuel crisis. Transport Minister John Graham noted that the adjustment will enhance peak frequency to one train every three-and-a-half minutes. Almost 1.5 million passengers utilize the M1 line weekly as commuters shift from cars to public transport.
