Huge sea turtle rescued after being discovered stranded upside down

Rescuers saved a 52-kilogram female sea turtle, nicknamed Ozzy, found stranded upside down on Urunga beach on April 1. Local resident Anthony Sharkey discovered the turtle and alerted wildlife rescuers, who transported her to Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary for rehabilitation. Ozzy is expected to regain strength and be released in December, following treatment for floating syndrome.
