UConn's Sarah Strong earns AP Player of the Year honors for undefeated

UConn sophomore Sarah Strong was named the Associated Press Player of the Year on Thursday, becoming the Huskies' first winner since Paige Bueckers in 2021. Strong led her team to an undefeated 38-0 season while averaging 18.6 points and 7.6 rebounds. Coach Geno Auriemma praised her as a 'low-key superstar' and the heart.
