Heritage protection in the works for one of Australia's oldest skate parks

The City of Greater Geelong announced plans to grant heritage protection to the Corio Bowls skate park, Victoria's first purpose-built public skate park, which opened in 1980. The community and state government will review the proposal, preserving a space significant for local youth culture.
