Demons sorry for ‘distress’ caused by meeting with players’ partners

The Melbourne Football Club apologized for a pre-season meeting that allegedly breached confidentiality regarding former player Steven May's personal situation. Club officials, including CEO Paul Guerra, acknowledged that the meeting caused distress to players’ partners. The AFL Players' Association has referred the matter to the AFL, which is monitoring the investigation.
