Rising star among 3 Australians picked in WNBA expansion draft

Nyadiew Puoch and Chloe Bibby were selected by the Portland Fire, while Kristy Wallace was picked by the Toronto Tempo in the WNBA expansion draft held on April 13. Puoch, a breakout star with the UC Capitals, averaged 11.4 points per game last season. The new teams will join the league ahead of its season opener on May 8.
