Boost to frequency of Sydney’s metro train services as fuel crisis bites
Sydney's M1 metro rail line will increase its services by 166 weekly starting Monday to accommodate rising commuter demand amid a fuel crisis. Trains will operate every three-and-a-half minutes during peak hours, up from four minutes. Transport Minister John Graham noted this change aims to enhance public transport as an effective cost-of-living measure.
