Body found in search for missing Alice Springs girl Sharon Granites
Police in Australia's Northern Territory found the body of five-year-old Sharon Granites on Thursday, five kilometres south of the Alice Springs camp where she disappeared Saturday night. Authorities believe suspect Jefferson Lewis, 47, a recently released prisoner, abducted the girl. DNA evidence recovered from clothing near the camp linked both Lewis and Sharon to the scene. Lewis remains at large.
