A ghost ship, a border bungle and a missing tonne of cocaine

Australian authorities allowed a cargo ship, Raider, suspected of carrying a tonne of cocaine, to sail unimpeded along the east coast before it offloaded drugs worth about half a billion dollars. Law enforcement agencies failed to share critical intelligence, straining relationships between state and federal departments as efforts begin to locate the missing cocaine.
