Man missing from Carnival cruise ship en route to Sydney
Authorities are searching for a man in his 70s who went overboard from the Carnival Splendor near Moreton Island overnight. A Carnival Cruise Line spokeswoman confirmed that the man climbed over the safety railing before jumping. The cruise line is assisting agencies in the investigation and providing support to the man’s family.
