‘Troubled man’ overdosed before alleged smoothie murder
Maree Mavis Crabtree, 59, is on trial for allegedly murdering her son Jonathan, 26, by hiding oxycodone in a smoothie on July 19, 2017. The Brisbane Supreme Court heard testimony that Jonathan had a history of drug overdoses, with witnesses suggesting Crabtree discussed harming him. The trial is expected to last four more weeks.
