Domestic violence service warns $292m funding may not reach frontline
The ACT family violence service has raised concerns that a $292 million federal funding boost may not effectively reach frontline support. Chief Executive Sue Webeck stated there is insufficient information on how the funding will be allocated to local services. This follows a previous allocation of $2.5 million that provided support for only seven full-time workers through 2026.
