Australian government invests $7 billion to boost anti-drone technology capabilities
The Australian government announced a $7 billion investment in anti-drone technology, including a high-energy laser system capable of tracking objects as small as a 10-cent piece. Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy stated that funding will more than double previous allocations to enhance the Australian Defence Force’s capabilities against drone threats.
