Man dies in fiery Adelaide crash after car hits electricity pole
A 29-year-old man died in a fiery crash when a Holden Statesman hit an electricity pole on Curtis Road in Adelaide's north Friday morning. Good Samaritans tried unsuccessfully to rescue the trapped passenger, waving down vehicles for fire extinguishers. The 22-year-old driver escaped with non-life-threatening injuries. The death marks the 41st road fatality in South Australia.
