Convicted child killer Arthur Phillip Freeman was hospitalized after an alleged assault by two inmates at Western Plains Correctional Centre on Wednesday. A spokesperson confirmed one prisoner was taken to the hospital and has since returned, with no staff injuries reported. Victoria Police is investigating the incident.
