South Sydney Rabbitohs player Alex Johnston paid tribute to cancer-stricken club great Nathan Merritt during the team's match against Canterbury on Good Friday. Merritt, who has terminal cancer, rang the club's Legacy Bell in a heartfelt pre-game ceremony, attended by 49,813 fans. Johnston scored his 97th try at Accor Stadium, further solidifying his legacy as the NRL's greatest tryscorer.
