Art created for NT school reading program goes on display in Canberra

Art created for a reading program in the Papunya community is now on display at the National Library of Australia. The exhibition, titled Wangka Wakanutja, showcases Pintupi-Luritja bilingual literacy tools designed to teach children their language, reflecting a cultural revival driven by local Elders and funded by the Whitlam government from 1979 to 1990.
