Bureau investigating if Bunbury wild weather was a tornado
The Bureau of Meteorology is investigating whether Bunbury experienced a tornado after wind gusts reached 124 km/h early Tuesday. Jessica Lingard, a BOM meteorologist, noted that the wild weather was caused by a passing cold front, which has prompted damages including felled trees in the region. The South West typically sees five tornadoes annually, including two in Perth.
