Passengers were suspended midair on the DC Rivals HyperCoaster at Movie World on the Gold Coast on Wednesday. Stranded in 30-degree heat, riders used umbrellas for shade as the ride stopped due to a sensor activation. Village Roadshow confirmed that all guests were safe and exited the ride with assistance from the staff.
