Cumberland Council mayor Ola Hamed's car was destroyed in a firebombing incident early Saturday morning in Merrylands. The fire engulfed her Mercedes hatchback just after 3am, damaging two nearby vehicles as well. NSW Police are investigating the arson and have established a crime scene, but there is no indication of council involvement.
