Artemis II chases record for the furthest humans have ventured from Earth

The Artemis II crew launched on Thursday, seeking to break the record for human distance from Earth. The mission will see them travel 252,757 miles, surpassing Apollo 13's 248,655 miles by over 4,100 miles. They will capture unique lunar views, including a total solar eclipse not visible from Earth.
