Body found in search for missing Alice Springs girl Sharon Granites
Police found the body of five-year-old Sharon Granites on Thursday, five kilometres south of an Alice Springs Aboriginal camp where she vanished Saturday. NT Commissioner Martin Dole confirmed the discovery, saying a post-mortem examination will determine the cause of death. Suspect Jefferson Lewis, 47, recently released from prison, remains at large.
