A car crashed through a fence at The Hills Montessori childcare centre in Alexandra Hills on Wednesday afternoon, narrowly missing children at a sandpit. The vehicle, driven by a mother, lost control around 3pm, resulting in a child sustaining a minor scratch. Managing director Rebecca Grugan commended her team's quick response, stating it could have been much worse.
