Parents share statement in 'darkest hour' after children killed in house fire
Parents of two children killed in a house fire at Bowen Mountain, NSW on Monday released a statement thanking first responders and their community. Ten-year-old Myla Summer-Lea Hughes and three-year-old River William Higgins died in the blaze that broke out at 2am. Police say the fire is not believed to be suspicious and investigations are continuing.
