Sha’Carri Richardson triumphs in Stawell Gift women’s final

Sha'Carri Richardson won the Stawell Gift women's final on Monday, overcoming a nine-metre head start to finish in 13.15 seconds. The American Olympic champion is only the third woman to secure the $40,000 prize. Her partner, Christian Coleman, was eliminated in the semi-finals, finishing shortly after despite his efforts to catch.
