Senator Cory Booker Hangs in L.A. During Government Shutdown

Senator Cory Booker spent Thursday morning at a luxury hotel in Los Angeles, over 2,000 miles from Washington amid the ongoing government shutdown. Photographed with his wife around 9:30 AM, Booker is on a book tour and scheduled to appear in Santa Monica on Friday. Many lawmakers are currently away from the capital as federal workers remain unpaid.
