Richard Scolyer: Former Australian of the Year posthumously releases final message
Scientist and former Australian of the Year Richard Scolyer has released a posthumous letter to “all Australians” after losing his battle with brain cancer. Scolyer died at the age of 59 on Sunday after being given just six to eight months to live with an incurable and aggressive stage four brain cancer named glioblastoma in June 2023.
