Augustus strikes gold in opening WA Leonora swing
Augustus Minerals struck gold at its Clifton East prospect north of Leonora, Western Australia, returning shallow intersections including 16 metres grading 1.46 grams per tonne from an 11-hole maiden drilling program. The results confirm a broader mineralised system with geological similarities to the Golden Cities gold deposits 50km north of Kalgoorlie.
