High fuel prices have forced some young Australians to quit their jobs, with 28-year-old Tam Stevens from Victoria stating her commute cost more than her earnings. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese acknowledged the crisis but provided no new relief beyond a recently halved fuel excise, which remains insufficient amid soaring prices caused by the conflict in the Middle.
