Sisters of officer Neal Thompson plan to sue Victoria police for negligence

Dianne Thompson and Lois Kirk, sisters of officer Neal Thompson killed by Dezi Freeman, plan to sue Victoria police for negligence following an inquest into his death. Their lawyer, Jeremy King, confirmed the action stems from the failure to deploy specialist forces during a search warrant. A date for the inquest has not yet been announced.
