Mazzorbo island offers rare dorona wine experience for discerning tourists

Tourists often overlook the small Venetian island of Mazzorbo, where only three travelers disembarked on a recent vaporetto stop. Wine ambassador Luca Carnevali highlighted the island's rich viticulture history, with the rare dorona grape being revived after nearly disappearing post-1966 floods. Visitors to Venissa winery can taste its exclusive wines, with only 4,500 bottles produced annually.
