Rumiko Takahashi’s ‘Mao’ Sets Hulu, Disney+ Premiere as Viz Media Lands Rights

Rumiko Takahashi’s anime adaptation 'Mao' will premiere on April 4 on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Viz Media has secured North American and select international streaming rights for the series, which is part of Shogakukan's centenary celebration. The show features a continuous two-cour run without a midseason break.
