Mountain towns attract families as Cooma and Beechworth house prices soar

Mountain towns in Australia are increasingly attractive due to affordable housing and beautiful scenery. Cooma's median house price rose 9.4 percent to $580,000, significantly lower than Sydney's. Beechworth, once less favored, has surged by 54 percent over five years, now averaging $808,750, as more families and remote workers flock.
