Cyclist clinging to reeds, plucked to safety in remote Snowy River rescue

A 31-year-old cyclist was rescued by the Victoria Police Air Wing after attempting to ride across the Snowy River at Suggan Buggan on Friday night. Stranded for four hours, he activated a satellite communication device that helped locate him. The cyclist was flown to hospital for assessment but sustained no injuries.
