Perth medical student acquitted of father's murder due to insanity ruling
A Perth medical student was found not guilty of killing his father on grounds of insanity Friday despite admitting the stabbing. David Moussa, 32, believed government researchers had instructed him to murder his father after experiencing psychosis. Justice Terence Palmer ruled Moussa's mental illness deprived him of capacity to know he ought not kill, ordering supervision rather than release.
