Sydney mayor’s car destroyed in firebombing incident
Cumberland Council mayor Ola Hamed's car was destroyed in a firebombing incident early Saturday morning in Merrylands. The Mercedes hatchback was engulfed in flames just after 3am, damaging two other parked vehicles. NSW Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the attack, which does not appear to be linked to recent shootings.
