Volunteer numbers strong in WA despite cost of living crisis

Despite high living costs, 1.5 million people in Western Australia continue to volunteer, according to Volunteering WA chief executive Tina Williams. Informal volunteering has increased due to social media, which enables individuals to offer help as needed. The WA Volunteer of the Year Awards will announce winners on May 14, highlighting community support.
