Riot erupts at Alice Springs Hospital after arrest in child death case
A riot erupted outside Alice Springs Hospital on Thursday night after Jefferson Lewis, arrested in connection with a five-year-old girl's death, was brought there for treatment. Police received calls that Lewis was being violently assaulted at a town camp before his arrest around 9:30 p.m.
